I am sure that, like me, you heard a lot the reply: Is it urgent? What’s the rush for? Can I call you back later or get back to you later? That’s what people normally will answer when you ask them to sign their Life Insurance application.
Since I also work in general insurance, I hear a lot of: Please I won’t take new my car from the dealer shop before insuring it? My insurance will expire tomorrow, please make sure it’s renewed.
I certainly sit and wonder, why do I follow the clients to protect their families and their incomes while they follow me to protect their cars??? Seriously, why?
Why people don’t feel an urgency to buy Life Insurance? You know we normally say it’s hard to work in our profession because no one, no one will knock on your door and say: Hi, I need a Life Insurance.
My question remains: But WHY?
Unless you can predict the future, unless you know what will happen tomorrow or in an hour or in the next minute, you have no reason to delay.
Don’t ask for it when it’s too late to have it!!
